The Boat House is looking for a Photography & Inventory Intern to join our team and support our inventory operations by capturing high-quality photos and videos of our new and pre-owned boat inventory. The selected intern will report to the Cape Coral location.

🌊 About the Role
As our Photography & Inventory Intern, you'll play an important role in how our boats are presented to customers online and in our sales systems. This role is focused exclusively on inventory support - capturing, editing, and uploading accurate photos and videos of boats using the Impel.io platform to ensure our listings are professional, consistent, and up to date.

📌 What You'll Do

  • Photograph and video new and pre-owned boats at dealership locations using the Impel.io app

  • Capture detailed images that accurately reflect vessel condition, features, and presentation standards

  • Edit and review photos to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency

  • Upload and update inventory images and videos in inventory systems and online listings

  • Organize and maintain the digital photo and video library for inventory records

  • Coordinate with sales and inventory teams to prioritize units and meet posting timelines

  • Follow established imaging standards and inventory presentation guidelines

✅ What We're Looking For

  • Passion for photography and visual documentation

  • Familiarity with DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or mobile photography tools

  • Basic photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality images

  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently

  • Comfortable working around boats in indoor and outdoor environments

  • Bonus: An interest in boats and the marine lifestyle

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.

🚀 What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience working directly with luxury boat inventory

  • Training on professional inventory imaging platforms, including Impel.io

  • Portfolio development through real-world product photography projects

  • Exposure to dealership operations and marine sales environments

  • A fast-paced, supportive team environment

💡 Our Core Values

  • Do the Right Thing: Be honest, trustworthy, and represent our company with integrity

  • Respect: Treat others professionally and collaborate effectively

  • Customer Focused: Present inventory in a way that supports a positive customer experience

  • Positive Energy: Bring enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to every assignment

  • Team Player: Support the team and contribute to shared goals

👉 If you're ready to build your photography skills while working hands-on with an exciting inventory of boats, we'd love to hear from you!
